Reel Grobman was hired by one of the world's leading accounting firms to design their new 100,000sf corporate headquarters at 50 Fremont Street, San Francisco. The interiors direction was for a Pacific Rim feel.
Project Manager controlling the Construction Documentation and detail design throughout the contract. Provided all of the on-site Quality Control and Contract Administration.
The managers' offices around the perimeter of each of the five floors were designed with unique custom door pulls that required approval from the State Architect for ADA accessibility. Mock-ups were initiated to ensure consistent quality where three different materials and trades share the perimeter of the same piece of glass

Sales Offices
Design, Art and Architects, San Francisco, was created during the 1990's in response to the high demand for High Tech corporate interior design. I was a founding member of DA&A and became the Director of Architecture, responsible for design coordination, oversight of the Autocad team, client liaison, Construction Administration and Quality Control.
Oracle Corporation became one of our main clients and DA&A provided services for many of its corporate field offices across the USA.
Shown here are images from a couple of typical projects. Most of the projects had training facilities with complex audiovisual auditoriums in addition to their usual offices and restaurant facilities.

Oracle Corporation
Reston Virginia Campus
Design, Art and Architects designed and managed the complete interior build-out of Oracle Corporation's Virginia Campus. As Director of Architecture at DA&A, my focus was on Construction Documentation, on-site review and Contract Administration.
The Base Building architects designed from the inside out, around the interior space planning, to suit Oracle's requirements. The project won a WBC Craftsmanship Award.
The facility includes 150,000sf of sales offices in an eight-storey tower. The lower floors house a 20,000sf Education Center, a 2,000sf Customer Visitor Center, a 5000sf Auditorium and a 3,000sf Cafeteria.
Cloud Imperium Games Corporation

A new enterprising computer game company, Cloud Imperium's first product, "Star Citizen" has become the most successful crowdfunded game ever.
Engaged as a Consultant Architect to convert a medium size commercial space into the Santa Monica HQ for the company.
Provided design, Contract Documentation and Construction Administration services for this fast-track installation.
Tenfold Corporation
150 Front Street, San Francisco
Design Art and Architects designed and managed the interior build-out for Tenfold Corporation's San Francisco Headquarters.
The facility includes five upper floors of offices and two floors of presentation areas totalling
105,000sf.
The space plan incorporates a diagonal scheme of workstations interspersed with small enclosed huddle rooms and larger conference rooms.
Bold use of color, specialty lighting and recycled carpet tiles, laid on a diagonal, give the space a lively contemporary open feel. The main lobby opens onto two large customer visitors centers and a small bistro lounge area. A 1,500sf data center supports the facility.
